The year 2010 marked the year of the 44th Statesman Vintage & Classic Car Rally. More than 100 vintage and classic cars participated in the rally held at the Eastern Command Stadium Ground at Fort William, Kolkata on 9-10th January, 2010.

Though I missed the initial part of the show, there were plenty of beauties ranging from the house of Buick (Eight),  Standard (Coventry), MG, Crossley, Riley, Chevrolet, Ford, Rover, Mercedes Benz, Packard to Lancia, Wolseley, Nash, Auburn, Rolls-Royce etc, all left at the stadium ground worth seeing, and obviously worth picture perfect shots.  Few two-wheelers which attracted bike enthusiasts are Royal Enfield, Triumph, BSA etc. I did not waste any time and let my camera do all the work.

The only thing which I found not going well with these vintage and classic cars was the quality and choice of songs/ dances played on the main stage. However, it was easily ignorable.
